JV> I left the Peavey apart. That's the basis for my Marshall 18w repro.
:)
JV> TS> Fender toasts Peavey, eh? :)
JV> In the vintage dept, yes. In the Mondo Gain dept, no.
I was really delerious to ask that question, huh? :)
JV> Buy something that sounds good off the bat? :) Seriously...
JV> if you want a new amp, buy something that you like immediately.
JV> Have you heard the Laney AC30 knockoff? No idea why they used
JV> 10's, but it was decent-sounding.
:) If I had the money, I'd go out and get a ProSonic. :)
All I want is something sweet. One channel is fine because I have a
processor for distortion, reverb, and stuff. Vibrato might be nice, but I
have tremelo. Something at least 30 watts. Something I can turn up and get a
bit of sweetness out of. I never play purely clean. Even my "clean" presets
on my processor have a VERY slight touch of overdrive, but just enough to be
more of a boost than distortion.
JV> Ask numerous parents, satanists, the KKK, and whoever else.
Sometimes I wish that I didn't hate guns... I'd line them all up...
