subject: Files areas

Hello Bob,

AI> a perl interpreter for Windows??

BS> Sure is. I think I got my version from ActiveState,
BS> but the easiest way to find it is by browsing
BS> http://www.cpan.org and follow the links from there.

Great, I'll have a look.

AI> If it could be done I'd like a all/newfiles list
AI> that looks like the one I have now (made by AMU).

BS> Sorry, I'm not clear on this. Do you mean the text
BS> list format or the html list format (or both). I just
BS> tried to browse to trmb.thebbs.org but couldn't
BS> connect, so I'm guessing that you're not serving html
BS> pages at this time (because the address resolved okay).

Yep, I just finished getting the servers back online. It's a
little short on content at the moment, but we're back up and
running. I haven't created an index.html yet though, so for
the time being you'll just get the default apache .html.

AI> At the moment, I don't have any files at all in
AI> the filebase, but in a week or so I'll post a
AI> short example of the list.

BS> Super, thanks. In the mean time, I'll start work on
BS> the script. If you didn't want to post the info here,
BS> you could email it to me at 1:342/5.

Will do. I'm going to work on a couple file areas tonight. Once
I get that done I'll netmail a zip with examples of what I mean.
Thanks for your help.

 Ttyl :-),
         Al
