From: "Bob May" To: "atmlist" Reply-To: "Bob May" FWIW, knobs are available that have a threaded center section so they can be used on carriage bolts or allthread. If you have a lathe, they can be made quite rapidly without any problems. This also insures that the boltheads don't hit the mirror as they are doing their thing pulling the cell down and I usually bury them a little bit into the wood and epoxy them in place so they won't turn. Don't forget to make one of the three harder to turn (small knob or smooth nut) so that the adjustments you make don't walk the mirror up or down the tube over time.
