FOUND IT!
That is JUST what I need!
It creates an MSDOS text file which I was able to open in Excel.  I put 
the file type in a column and sorted.  Between S16 and SYS files and 
Prodos files I was quickly able to narrow 1500 entries down to a few dozen.

I'm on my way to what I want to do.
