subject: Is this possible under Linux?

Games are not an issue for me. And my dos/dv box doesn't do networking
well. I have the ability to go to just dos and load a packet driver,
which will let me ftp stuff to the rest of the LAN, but that's pretty
limited, and not too terribly stable. I could fiddle around with trying
to optimize so that driver works while dv is active, but that's
time-consuming at best and I'd still end up with a dos box...

Multi-node isn't that much of an issue with me, particularly since I don't
get all that many bbs users in the first place.

Telnet access while I was online doing other stuff would be nice.

Ok. About the only time I'm multi-noding these days is when I fire up the
user editor or log on locally while somebody is online, which is pretty
seldom.

Ok.
