I recently upgrade a few of our workstation from older machines running
win95 to newer ACER 6000 PII 266 machines running win95. Since the
upgrade, whenever the workstation is logged on the network and goes to
START>SHUTDOWN, the system will hang on the PLEASE WAIT WHILE WINDOWS SHUTS
DOWN splash screen. Sometimes it hangs for 2 or 3 minutes, sometimes
indefinitely. If it is not logged into the network, it shuts down fines.
I have turned off the Client32 autoreconnect, and it still didn't eliminate
the problem. Has anyone encountered this or know what I can do?
