| subject: | Re: Crazy Truck Problem |
TW> Boy do you have a "Guardian Angel" looking after you. That incident TW> could easily have turned into the Untimate Disaster that engine. TW> TW> My wife has a similay incident while as she was driving the Freeway the TW> Water pump shaft broke. Fortunatly she noticed the pulley rolling TW> down the Freeway and knew something was wrong and pulled over. Even though she pulled over right when the engine temp got near the red line, she told me it stalled right before she put it in park. I was worried that either the engine or transmission (or both) were toast. Even the shop that worked on it couldn't guarantee the engine or transmission until they fixed the hose and replaced the radiator. I just crossed my fingers. After a flush of both systems, everything is still working great. Actually, I think the truck coasts better and shifts smoother now. It has all new antifreeze and transmission fluid. - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.50* Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 953 @PATH: 261/1304 1 266/512 140/1 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
