Yes, could be it tis way.

The most of my links is using Internet binkp connections for both linux and windows.
Mailers as binkd irex and their bbs software og most for windows.
There is a old DOS writen software there have soem borland C sources there
just have to be gone through for linux c compiling and the by let a point
number get mail for zone zone to another one and by upack by hpt to the
point no. as "hpt program toss" should change echo nanes form one
zone to another. I have the bornaldn C sources and just to have gone it
throug and changing the C code in sources to real working linux c code adn
compile it.

Maybe it it the rigt one here.

MK>In what format? Can I just use cat, more or less to read the output?
Husky have it in its misc files dir and logstathpt.pl and st_htick.pl and
there is more of this .pl for log and I have self soem stat file for binkd.
GKA>> I have tried to write a pl file there should rename the echo tag but

MK>I saw that. In my particular case - the machine where the node resides

I have too sme linux batch programs for it and it is neiher like to work well.
It files like gating or gating.sh ogor make as gating.pl and filter.pl to
work for it.
the pl file in linux gives me 2 syntax errors and if I coudl get out of
them and try to see how it then will work wil it be fine.
GKA>> Just looking for at newsgroup provider in US the have some local
GKA>> states specail groups my own provider and isp not have.
MK>Understood. Do you find many?
I find about 6 and some other but not how to connect to them, and most of
them was by payments for to get just connect and see what they have of
groups, and they not asnwer real back on mail to them of a try to get a
list of groups they have.
It I just could get hand of a newsgroup provider list to see what there is
of them, there was fo some year ago a list of news hosts and it coudl be
find by Internet.
Take care,
Gert
