Then again, it's the first DC> time I needed it too! What I'm using (I just went and checked) is a freeware utility called touch.com but there is probably a similar command in DOS. One reason I checked is that hubby has installed a number of Unix commands on our computers, but I was fairly sure this wasn't one of them... they tend to be more abbreviated, such as "ls" (list) to be used instead of "dir". He's also installed a number of little utilities, some of which he wrote himself. I learn the magic spell, and how/when to use it, and hopefully how to get help on it (besides yelling for him... ), and that's usually the extent of my knowledge. :) ttyl neb ... We can teach it to you, but we can't understand it for you. ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.20 --- SBBSecho 2.10-Win32* Origin: :::The Holodeck BBS::: telnet://holodeck.myip.us (1:261/1381) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 261/1381 38 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
