Yes I agree, USR are "top-of-the-line" modems.  What I was saying is
that Hayes DID set the standards in modems for a long time.  And I STILL
consider them very high quality.  And anybody that argues that they're
not, is a fool.  Hayes DOES know what they are doing when it comes to
modems, filing for bankrupcy or no.  And another thing is that I have
ALWAYS been partial to originals.  Like Hayes for modems, IBM for
computer systems (although I don't own an IBM, I built my computer from
scratch), and so on.
