HPFSFindDirectory Entry Abend

I've just completed a mainboard swap on my 3.12 server, installing an
Asus P5A and AMD K2-300AFR cpu. I've also installed all the latest
patches right up to 3.2. Memory is registered as 128mb.

It runs perfectly OK until I try Restores from tape (BackUp Exec),
when it will periodically ABEND with the message *HPFSFindDirectory
Entry found a non-HPFS entry on the hash list*.

There are 5 volumes - SYS,APPS,DATA,DATA2, and DATA3

DATA2 and 3 or about 2.5gb each and are on a single IDE drive.

The other volumes are under 500mb each and are on a 1.2gb disk which
is mirrored.

When the ABEND occurs it leaves destruction on either DATA2 or DATA3
which VREPAIR is unable to fix, leaving me to trash them and start
again.

THe smaller Volumes are never affected by this.

ANy suggestions? WHat is the error message trying to tell me?
