No mystery here. She "knows" about the subject because you agree with
her opinion. "Saving Ophelia" says what you've already decided you
don't agree with so the author's opinion is caca.
There is nothing definitive about either author or their research. No
doubt they both make excellent points. But your fantacism blinds you to
any possibility of altering your pre-convceived ideas about things.
