In the DOS and OS/2 versions you could access that menu using the mouse. 
This might not be supported in the Linux version.  In any case, all those
commands are accessible using keyboard shortcuts, so the menu isn't
necessary.  You can turn it off from msged.cfg, from memory.

Pressing E or the Insert key should work.

There is an echo called fidosoft.husky that some of the developers of Msged
probably still read, maybe that might be of some use...
