Hello gang:

As the subject says, the PCI USR modem, now gives me a "Boot>"
prompt inside
Minicom. It's is a HW modem, so there shouldn't be any "Window"
issues. "ATI?"
(Whatever number describes the HW.) reported some devices that do not exist on
this machine, so maybe it's time to flash its BIOS?

It was working fine, for a year at least. Nothing was done on this end to tweak
anything, until it went down.
