subject: CHANGES SUPRA ROM 1.1440-

AB>Therefore, with no reply from supra with any ideas what causes this,
AB>I can see no other answer than that some Supra modems, even if they
AB>*DO* have flash ROM capability, and even if they *DO* take the flash,
AB>just cannot be upgraded to 33600. I just wish supra would be brave
AB>enough to ADMIT that.
        When have we not?
Basically 33.6k support at all was the fluke, the DSP vendor
(Rockwell) told us these DSP's handled 28.8k tops. It just
turned out that the later versions support 33.6k after some
        heavy tweaking.
