Jim, that is an excellent price for that unit.  If you were to take it
apart (which is what I had to do when my batteries went bye-bye), you
would find that it contains 2 6 volt 4 amphour batteries.  Gel cels.
The price is certainly right, as the 2 new batteries cost me $10 each.
In addition to the batteries, the circuitry for recharging/supplying
9/6/3 volts is on a pc board.  I trashed the nylon carry strap, and will
be using the unit to power a Toshiba laptop in the field at work.
