What does the fact of the responsible recreational, let alone medicinal,
use of marijuana by adults have to do with children? There are many
activites by adults that are not appropriate for children and that
children are not or should not be permitted to do. It would be absurd
to prohibit adults from any activity that children are not permitted to do.
In particular, there are many medicines and medicinal herbs that children
should not be given and many others that they should not be given without
close supervision due to possible intereference with their growth and
development.

There is no significant effect to stopping using marijuana -- no
significant withdrawal effect has been found and no significant
physical dependence has been determined to occur with it. I have
cited you the studies. Even your precious DSM IV (at page 216)
recognizes this (even though it is not a reliable source regarding
such matters). Your claims and conclusions to the contrary are
unfounded in credible authority.
JK>Anyone who knows that these things are possible from the use of the

There is no reason to respect your opinion in this regard because
you exaggerate, take out of context, and flat out lie about these
things. In fact, it is behavior like what you have exhibited that
leads people, and particularly children, into taking very addictive
substances. When you tell people that marijuana is extremely
addictive and then they see that this is not so when people around
them use it, they no longer believe you when you tell them that
heroin is very addictive. So, if they are inclined to experiment
with drugs, they are more willing to try heroin and perhaps try it
more frequently than they would otherwise, because you or someone
else lied about marijuana. This is not an infrequent scenario, and
it is lies like yours that the uneducated and uneducable believe, and
that gets them into trouble.
