This is probably based on their assumptions about the amount of babysitting
each machine needs - as well as how often it needs to be updated.

I dunno. What I'd like is a Linux graphical tape backup application... I've
looked at XBru and it's nice... if it didn't blow up in the TCL script when
it tried to close the tape.
