That isn't a fair comparison.  What would be is DOS/DV against Linux
running simular native apps without emulation on the same hardware.  Right
now I only have one machine that it is possible to install DOS onto - a 486
- and I already know that booting Linux on it is the best upgrade for that
machine possible in today's needy society.
