You'll need to convert {e,net}mail into messages that it can parse. The
script comes with a simple program to do that, it's called "areaqueue.c".
Compile it, and then make an alias for sendmail or whatever (/etc/aliases):
areafix: sysop, |"/usr/lib/ifmail/areafix/areaqueue
/var/spool/ifmail/areafix"
In root's crontab is this line:
0 * * * * /usr/lib/ifmail/areafix/areafix.pl
It will read those spooled files generated by areaqueue.
Areafix.pl deals with nodes (gated too, if I recall) and passwords,
juggling the downlink feeds in /etc/news/newsfeeds - that's the part
you'll be wanting to change.
