Howdy, Maurice,
HG> I have given up the programming of an UTF-8 conversion table into
HG> my editor, "The Semware Editor".
MK> I haven't seen any version of that editor since the early 1990's
MK> when the 16-bit DOS version known as QED.EXE was all the rage. If I
MK> recall correctly all I ever used it for was all ascii text so that
MK> would be extremely easy to convert to anything except UTF-16 or
MK> UTF-32 not that either of those matter any.
I have also been using QEdit since the early 1990's and its followers,
"The Semware Editor" since v1.0. I'm still using QEdit/2 v3.0 in OS/2.
The QEdit programs couldn't be programmed by the user but with the
Semware Editor one received also the programming software and the
instructions
MK> .. Tryck p† valfri tangent f”r att forts„tta ...
As converted by the editor Lat1/IBM conversion. Conversion routines
added by me.
Regards,
Holger
