Hey mark!

As it should since the original had 8-bit iso-8859-1 characters which were
converted to their utf-8 equivalents before quoting them back.
Having done that, I won't be doing that in the future since as Holger so
elequently put, the codes differ depending on the origin. Anyhow I am
satisfied that Prism BBS is indeed ISO-8859-1 characters and Pointy Stick
Society are indeed UTF-8 characters ... not counting the actual 7-bit
characters which are indeed ASCII in both cases. I have seen them get buggered
up along the line by other less capable systems. In one case they had UTF-8
working before buggering it up for whatever lame yet to be determined reason.
Obviously a dumbass sysop, more than likely a FTSC member. :::snicker:::
Life is good,
Maurice
... Don't cry for me I have vi.
