ooo...a scanner. I'm jealous. I certainly would like to
be able to do my own scanning. I've been processing my film at a
drugstore outfit called PayLess here. They send the film in to a
Konica lab that will scan the pics in as or before they finish
processing them. It's rather handy and the price is right
(comparatively). The problem is that something about their scan
leaves the pictures inordinately dark and too...oh...I would say
'green'. I wish I could pinpoint the problem so I could tell
them what they're doing wrong but I can't remember the
terminology. The prints come out ok, tho.
At any rate, I do now have a couple pics of the big guy
that aren't too bad after I did a little color adjustment on the
image in a graphics program. (Not grEAt, mind you...) And
there's one of the fAtman that is fairly representative.
Now I need some action shots. I have some of my friend's
TB/Lippizan filly that, but for my foolishly not putting on a
zoom lens would have been outstanding (personal opinion). Of
course...I don't suppose that the fact that I really liked that
filly had anything to do with my 'view' of the pictures...
Anyway...I was really just suggesting that you include a
copyright notice for your work... ;) I also suspect that you'd
get some feedback on your page if you include an email address
somewhere... Just a thought... :)
