Hi guys, posting this from a Synchronet BBS, connecting via telnet from Linux. I'm having a bit of a problem in that when I telnet in from the linux console, I get major ugliness. I'm not sure how to describe it, but what should be solid blocks of color become accented letters. I've gotten it to work before by downloading some ANSI font and running an xterm, but that's not an option here. How can I get a good-looking session going on? Do I need to find a better client than telnet? Thanks John F. ...
