Hey Michele!

Okay.  For comparitive purposes I reinstalled slackware-current (<- as
of yesterday) with comparable packages as the 8.1 install I did this
morning.  Guess what?  Slackware-current came in at less bytes.  A stock
install, no GUI stuff, for 8.1 was roughly 30M larger then current!  I
found that suprising myself.  So I took the exact same Maximus source and
compiled it on there.  It successfully compiled.

Just thought you might like to know.
