 I have that setup.  I have two devices created.  One, which is the from
the Quick config list inside QmPro, and a Fax device I created using
the Quick Config as a starting point. The only difference I can see in
the device setup is the Term command.
The quick config is AT&R1&C1&D2S0=0S11=50^M
While the Fax is AT&C1&D2S0=0S11=50^M
I send faxes regularly and don't experience the problems you describe.
