It's a text mode browser. I use it quite often when I just need to retrieve
files or information without the need for all the goozie graphics crap.
Most ISP's have Lynx available, although there's an OS/2 version out it they
don't. Just dial up a shell or telnet to your home directory and type in
'lynx http://www.someaddress.org' at the prompt, and lynx should load up.
There's online help available, and it's pretty easy.
Lynx is great for no-nonesense information retrieval, since it loads no
graphics, and it's very fast. You need vt-100 emulation for it to work
properly.
Take care,
Dana
