Not a problem here as the weather very seldom drops below zero Celsius.  
Trouble is that I don't know of any perch around here although I am sure 
there must be.  When my bud gets here we'll scout around for them though.  
We're going up to this cabin on an island where there is a stocked bass lake.
Speaking of light line there was a kid around here who caught a +30 lb salmon 
on six pound test.  Took him forever to land but he got it!  Impressive.
