It that would be really cool! especially if you want some areas and not the others. Perhaps after you select the areas you want. it does two things. 1. makes the msgara.ctl and squish.cfg file entries (or areas.bbs for those who want that format.) and 2. makes the message that goes to your uplink to add/drop the desired/undesired areas. as for the DSL..... SBC is being really Anal. they suggest I keep the DSL (which I really would like to. and to get the continued $29.95 a month by signing ANOTHER YEAR CONTRACT! Bastards! I said "Come On! I had you for a whole year, I got my DSL modem, its paid for now. Got enough filters. All I am looking to do is lower my costs here. Btw that 29.95 is if I switch to Their Long distance plan. which is unreasonably expensive!. I might ask AT&T how much their plans are. Even SBC's Dialup plan is the same price as their DSL plan for most people! IN short, the bbs is still on DSL. But I am really beginning to feel like I am getting financially fleeced. Anyone have AT&T Dialup? How hostile are they to Linux users? Any other decent providers who work with Linux users for say $18.95 or cheaper? ...
