Kurt, KW>I always thought the shorter the call sign, the more senior the KW>operator. Phil Karn wrote a great TCP/IP stack for DOS back in the day KW>that he called KA9Q - that was apparently his callsign. That used to be the case...reserved only for Amateur Extra Class licensees.
