Yes, Wes put some items into lower level subdirectories.

The default was /var/max. If you are using /home/max and find something
still point to /var/max, let us know. [The install script will need to be
tweeked....]

/var/max/bin is for the binaries.
/var/max/etc will have most of the control files
so from /var/max (/home/max in your case), 'bin/silt etc/max' and similar
things should work.....

JK> Probably some of them were redundant, but /home/max/
JK> didn't work.. weird..I ran silt max -x, and then the
 JK> File Menu worked again

from /home/max try 'bin/silt etc/max -x'.....

JK> Then I started playing with the menus.. I've got an
JK> ansi menu up for the main menu and that is not being
JK> translated well.. I used ansi2bbs.. maybe I'll try it
JK> with ansi2mec and then use mecca on the file..

JK> There are still problems with the compress.cfg, but I
JK> didn't have time to play with that today.. maybe
 JK> tonight

I've seen a report or two of some fixes needed to that file.... Search the
old echo messages if you need to,....

JK> heh.. that should be neat

JK> should be able to do that..

> Life is good,

JK> Sure is :) Just a little hectic at time

Take care.....
