Delete the compile mex file....

Yes, you will continue to get the m/headfile error message, but the area
(and other commands) function.  Yes, this makes it difficult to naviage
message and file areas right now in Max under Linux......

Wes took a break on looking for the bug(s) in the mex virtual machine code.....

Yes, mex needs fixing before Max is ready for prime time under unix / Linux....

Yes, the limited documentation about the Max linux port states this, among
other things.....  

Bo:  Do you have downloads working in the message and file areas yet?
