They can object to laws all they want. Don't do business with them if you are
uncomfortable with their practices. While I love Chik-Fil-A I have stopped
doing business with them due to their moral stand on gays.

They operate a private business. People vote with their feet and if they object
to Hobby Lobby's stand on something they can go elsewhere.

Apples and Oranges. This example is a discrimination issue and runs afoul of
U.S. discrimination law which is an entirely different issue.

Businesses all over the U.S. have weird rules and policies, some of which are
bad for business and some of which are just entirely offensive. I operate three
restaurants and the company I work for has the policy of not allowing firearms
in the restaurant unless you are obviously a law enforcement officer. Among gun
owners quite a few choose not to dine with us because of this. I don't even
agree with it yet in the bigger scheme of things I prefer getting a paycheck
and paying my bills over disagreeing. As a private business they have the right
to set those rules though.
