True.  There's nothing like a fanatic radical to make the voice of
reasonable compromise seem, well, reasonable . . .

Part of the reason that Barb and I belong to the Sierra Club.  I don't
support all of their policies but I feel they are needed to counter-balance
the closet (and not so closeted) "robber baron" types.
