Hi all,
First of all, my apologies for such a wide crossposting, but I need help in
a hurry.

I've taken over an old Novell 3.11 server, but the server drive has become
quite full. I decided on installing another drive (both drives IDE). I use
Novell 3.11, with the IDE.dsk driver. The older drive (2gb) works well, but
as soon as we go above that, we run into problems - Novell sees the drive,
but will not partition it, it claims there are errors reading the FAT. All I
can think of is that Novell 3.11 has a problem with such large drives, as
the drive operates fine under Win95/98. The server is an HP Netserver LC,
but the same problem exists on a new Pentium II with new Bios.

Can anyone suggest a solution - is there a patch for this, or do I need to
upgrade to something like 3.2 or 4 ?

To preserve bandwith, maybe respond directly to me at cpp1@global.co.za
(that's a One after the cpp !)

Thanks in advance

Colin Pretorius
