From: "Bob May" To: "atmlist" Reply-To: "Bob May" WOOF! I saw the previous posts and thought "yeah, the guy has a little tiny wiggle in the center of the mirror and was wondering what was happening." Folks, this ain't no little wiggle! The guy is actually seeing a center half of the mirror actually reverse the direction of the direction of the line to the point where it is going about 135 degrees from the proper direction! First thing that I'd try is to put the mirror holder on the floor and tilt is up to your tester which you put at a normal standing eye level pointed down at the mirror. This will support the mirror in more of the proper fashion as when it is in the telescope. Use a good mirror support (at least as good as the cell you are going to have in the telescope) so that you don't have deformation problems. Aside from that, I'd have to look at the tester (in my hands, unfortunately) to see if there are any errors that could have been made with it.
