subject: More status of things

Hey everyone. Good to read all the discussion here :) (just wish I
had my BBS up and running so I could check things out locally) :D

Just wanted to pop in for a second and give you a little status
update.

I've spend the last week or so working on getting the foundation laid
for some new releases - if you can believe it.

My door library has been updated and optimized and can now compile
for both W32 console apps and W32 console-less apps.

In addition, Hackin' Crackin has now been completely updated as a
32bit app. It runs flawlessly via telnet without any special work.
I'm running/testing using Synchronet at the moment.

I've also reworkd some things in my library so that I can potentially
compile for DOS/16bit, OS/2, WC and Linux -- though it will require
more work for those...

Which leads me to my next good news :)

I just won an ebay auction for a copy of OS/2 and as soon as it
arrives I'll begin testing my code on that platform.

And last, but definitely not least... I need to ask for some help
(for the first time in many years) testing some software.
Specifically, I want to test Hackin' Crackin' in a variety of
systems/configurations. If you're interested, just let me know. I
know it doesn't seem like much, but this has been a huge learning
experience for me and testing out these new versions is like testing
out my first BBS door I wrote :)

That's all for now.
