Dear All:
My current helmet is a Shoei model RC-5 (?) that I purchased in 1994.  It 
was manufactured in 1991 (I think) and I've read that helmets should be 
replaced every 3 years even if they have no damage so...I'm in the market 
for a new helmet.  I do mostly upright fitness riding and some longer 
distance work on a '94 Trek cross bike on paved roads.  Here in Japan, it 
is *hot* and humid in the summer and I am looking for something lots of 
air cooling.  My question:
Does anyone have a preferred brand or model to fit my style of riding?  
OTOH, does anyone have a brand or model they think I should stay away 
from?  I plan to look in bike shops when I return to Toronto for my 
vacation in August.
