A bit back, I asked for good speakers for the computer and I
temporarily had a solution. I got these KLH speakers that were very
inefficient.. resisted 8 or 16 ohms but seemed to need a lot of watts.
Figure that out. :) Anyhow, they sounded very nice. I got a room
filling effect and everything was improved.
Then I had to give them back.. :( because I got speakers for
Christmas and they don't work with the new stereo. I actually could
keep them but I can't use them. I have Pioneer speakers that are not
too big and don't get the same bass and room-filling effect as the
KLH's... and I fell in love w/ them besides.
So now I'm looking again. I heard that the best speakers are
made by this company called Klipchorn, completely unknown to me. I
heard they output at the velocity of the sound, and the example of this
involved a roof falling apart. Of course, they are very expensive and
that means I couldn't use them. Then again, they're also supposed to be
pretty big. Maybe some of you know of the company.. I'd like to know
more about them.
