  I think the nervous system damage that I got from the 2 lightning
strikes, affected me copying CW. I did try a 5 WPM CW test, when it was
still offered. I failed it, but if I had filled in the blanks, I might
have passed it. However, it's a moot point now.

  At a hamfest in the Little Rock area many years ago, they had "A CW
Shootout At High Noon". Two hams tied for the top at 55 WPM!!

  I'd eat between the dancing "tip"...which is a "patter
call" (square
dance moves only to music), then a "singing call" (square dance moves
done to a song).

  While 3 hours of square dancing is equivalent to 6 miles of walking,
many go out afterwards to eat and chat...including having "a banana hot
fudge royale sundae"...after all, they did EARN it!!
