It's not a laptop it's a semi-portable PC. I rarely if ever use my laptop
purely on the battery. Sometimes on the train but mostly It's plugged in
somehow. Even when I'm in the car using it as my music player (via a
pretend tape thing) I have it running off a convertor which plugs into my
cig lighter.
