You are a liar.

The 1967 Selective Service Act required that males between the ages of 18
and 25 register for the draft.

They would not have accepted your registration if you were under age or
older than 25.

Only 646 men were inducted in 1973, with the last induction on 06/30/1973.

You turned 18 in 1973.

You did not register for the draft at age 17.

Draft registrations did however continue on until 1975, from 07/01/1973
onward to that point, those whom did register were not in danger of
military service.

So the believable part of your claim is that at your 18th birthday and
within 90 days afterwards, you did register for the draft as required by
law in the year 1973. You however had nothing to fear regarding actual
military service.

Had military induction not expired in 1973, it still was very unlikely you
would have been called up to serve since the treaty of paris was signed
01/29/1973, the US Military was already prior to that reducing its troop
presence in Vietnam and with a treaty in force troop reductions in Vietnam
greatly accelerated in 1973 with the last troops departing on 03/29/1973.

If Military conscription was still in force, you also became ineligible on
your 26th birthday in the year 1981.
