If you're asking how to print to an HP 870Cxi with a Clipper program, I
can tell you, because I've got one at work.
First, you have to run the Clipper program from Windows. It cannot work
if you're not in Windows.
Second, there's a program named INSTALL on the last disk of the set. If
you look in the printer manual under DOS, it says that to print from a
DOS program, you have to run this INSTALL program. It adds the support
to the installation for printing to an 870Cxi from a DOS program. It's
not a very prominent section in the manual, so it can be easily
overlooked. I think I've got version 9 of the HP drivers for this
printer.
