The Draft was formally ended in 1973.

The Draft was reformed in 1971.

Draft registrations continued until 1975, were halted, then resumed in 1980.

The last US combat troops departed Vietnam on March 29, 1973. (Per treaty
of paris, signed 2 months prior.)

At some point in time in 1973 you became draft eligible as in age 18.

The 1967 Selective Service Act expired in 1973, in 1973 only 646 men were
inducted into the military, the last one on 06/30/1973.


Since the Vietnam War as we knew it ended intoto, except for embassy
presence in Saigon, you would not have served in Vietnam if you had made it
as part of that 646 number.
