Okay, I get it now. Of course if the "fluffy bunnies" evolved
some kind of=
chemical
means to alter the behaviour of the predators that feed on them, the predat= ors then
could evolve some means to ignore the chemicals or to counter the effects.
On the other hand, Ksassans and non-Ksassans have not evolved together and
do not co-exist, so there has been no evolutionary give-and-take between
th= em.
It is possible that the effect of the Ksassan pheromones might weaken with
time as individuals and perhaps species build up a tolerance to them.
This=
is an
angle that I have not considered, but perhaps I should. I know that there = are
medical means to dampen or even prevent the effects of the pheromones on
individuals, but these counteracting agents have to be individually
prepare= d,
implying that people respond in different ways and to different levels with=
the phermones,
and different Ksassans might have different effects on the same person. Th= is is
an idea to consider, and perhaps explain why Ksassans who spend a lot of ti= me among
non-Ksassans tend to move around a lot.
