only because they've upped the speeds as well as figured out how to filter
out more of the noise that comes with the higher speeds... take todays
USB2.0 tech and work it into a parallel type mode and parallel will see
significant speed increases...

the _main_ reason for USB and its popularity is for the average joe blow
who doesn't understand or care about the different plug shapes and
styles... they only care to plug and go and be damned the education it
might possibly take to learn about their toaster and why it doesn't work in
the UK because the plug is different and the technology is different...
they only want to cook toast (use their computer) and do what they enjoy...
