You're saying here that SBBS is doing that?  Any idea why? Who should I
contact? I might be able to get it fixed on my side, but if my side
isn't broke then it might be a hard sell. Heck, maybe it's just an SBBS
debugging tool or something.

Programming? Perl isn't too bad, but my C sure stinks. Otherwise
I would tell ftn.c to stop looking at those too-long MSGID's..  ;-)
