Yes, mbse work fine on gentoo, then is there coming a new fidogate version
made by gentoo developer in gento + linux portager + a ebuild for fidogate,
binkd is too running fine on gentoo.
But Gento is a variant of Redhat where gentoo is self build and not in rpm
files, gentoo was the linux there started with sources and tar.bz only and
build in 3 stages, 1 for do all compiling self (this takes lot of times in
days) 2 for for both sources and tar.bz (takes 2-3 day making) 3 for the
person who like the most done for default setup and files made and in most
of tar.bz (takes 1-2 days or working with it all times without pause 1-1
and half day) and is the fatest install of gentoo, but self if install is
done is there 3-4 extra thing to do like update and checkig anf going
through setup and getting utlities and compile them.

I shall have linux news server and client INN to work to work for gating
newsgroup and lists to work for transfer it echoes by fidogate, I get a
e-mail when there is a new version of fidogate, a fidogate portage and
ebuild for fidogate.
So shall a technical point number be setup for work with it, I thing it
must be such way that if I can make some other util like a good perl .pl
file there too can work in a .pkt file and rename echo tags from one zone
to another.
Like fido echo linux is packet to point 900:104/1.1 then will perl
g-echo.pl open the .pkt file and change Linux to rm_linux and make a new
.pkt file ..
