Well, I've downloaded both files a second time with the process I've 
recommended below, and tested the downloads by opening the downloaded 
zipfile and then opening the text file in the zipfile.  Seems to work.  The 
first file is 111,580 bytes, so size should not be a problem. The second 
file is 44,250 bytes.  I've used both Opera 6.05, which I normally use, and 
MSIE6, which I used just now for the test.  Just now I downloaded and 
tested both of them.

I haven't tried to install the 4b - 4c patch yet.  Need some time to do it 
carefully.  I applied the old 4 - 4b patch a long time ago.
