It also makes poor future sales. If the competition continues to improve
their product and QMP drags there, then sales will go to the more advanced
product, thus a slow down in sales, thus less development and finely no
product.
So as can be seen it is a circle.
There is also something called Created Sales, like Windows 95. Now everybody
out pushing sales there with a produce that ONLY works there. Then someone
creates a product that in W95. After you start the base and then add a
'locked in' product. the new owner is forced to remain in that circle.
Sales then drop for DOS, and on down the line till you have forced ALL of Dos
off the market and no more QMP for dos will be developed.
So if you want MS-DOS based products like QMP for DOS, SUPPORT DOS.
